There was of course no such thing as Calmeyer’s Law, he was neither a legislator making law nor a judge interpreting law. But he was a lawyer, constantly judging the justice of the laws around him, and personally interpreting the law to form cogent arguments for all of his positions. Calmeyer did not create any legal precedents per se, but he used the existing laws in ways that until his time had not been widely practiced: asserting that individuals were children of past illicit relationships with Aryans, instead of children of Jewish parentage, somehow worked. It worked because Germans had a built-in respect for law, and for the principle of sufficient doubt, even though at that time the laws were used by the Nazis for their own ends. As their leader Adolf Hitler had evil ends, so too was the Law used to implement those evil ends.
