We thank you for visiting this site and for your support. We know that Calmeyer’s Legacy, like a lot of German things or philosophical / political / existential subjects, is highly complex. Saving 3000 Lives is simply the tip of an iceberg of why we should care about our fellow man, and why we must engage not only our friends but our potential enemies, they are both constantly at work. Their interaction, and occasional dramatic clashes, require constant vigilance and understanding. The lessons of the past are complex and history is being re-written in subtle ways that can lead us astray.
