Hans Calmeyer had two children, Peter in 1930 and Michael in 1953. Peter, an archaeologist, died at the age of 65 in 1995 in Berlin. Michael moved to America in 1963, also studied archaeology, and with an MBA from Kellogg has been active in venture capital in all areas of the USA, especially San Francisco and Boston.

Ursula Seidl Calmeyer  first-son Peter’s wife

Peter Calmeyer married Ursula Seidl in Munich, Germany. An archaeologist like Peter, Ursula works on classical Persian and Iranian anthropology and continues to research and teach at the University of Munich. They both worked in Iran excavating and studying the tomb of Darius. Peter and Ursula unfortunately did not have children.
